Notebook & Pen are committed to operating our business in a way that is mindful of the environment and aims to keep our impact on the earth’s resources to a minimum.
To help us do this, we make these promises:
- Meet and where possible exceed all current and future environmental and regulatory requirements
- Adopt best operational practices to reduce the environmental impacts of our activities and policies
- To buy all of our electricity from a 100% renewable source (Bulb)
- We recycle all paper, ink cartridges, stamps, pens and other recyclable materials
- Use public transport or walk to any meetings and events, where possible
- We minimise the amount of paper waste produced by only printing documents when absolutely necessary, and always using both sides of the paper
- We use recycled paper and products for any business stationery
- Ensuring all equipment is switched off when not being used
- All tea, coffee and other much-needed workday supplies are Rainforest Alliance Certified and / or Fairtrade
- We always stick on an extra layer before putting on the heating when the weather is colder
- We have video meetings where possible, to avoid the carbon cost of travel
