Big Business

The month of May was challenging, exciting and a huge learning curve; May saw the formation of Notebook & Pen Limited. Transitioning from a Sole Trader to a Limited Company was something that was always a loose part of the business plan; it didn’t have a firm date upon which to transition - it was to happen when the time felt right.

And, here we are, officially registered with Companies House.

Over the past four years (and a bit) the business has gone from strength to strength, building a small, but MIGHTY team, along the way. We have been fortunate to work with the best clients which has been pivotal to getting to where we are today. Having additional resource in the team means we can now offer more services to our existing clients and work for lots of new clients too – a really exciting time for everyone.

Transitioning from just Amy doing everything in the business to a team, has been a huge challenge in terms of making sure the bespoke, award winning service to clients isn’t compromised. As you would expect, the work we undertake involves high levels of trust and confidentiality, so ensuring we retain that and exceed expectations at the same time as introducing new faces; has been important.

Alongside our fabulous Associates of whom support specific clients with specialist tasks, we welcomed Amanda to the team in April. Amanda provides Administrative Support to Amy and our clients across a diverse range of tasks; particularly enjoying buying things online, working a spreadsheet and getting those To Do lists tasks ticked off! Amanda brings a wealth of administrative experience to the team and has a cracking sense of humour (helpful when working with Amy on stressful days).

We offer in-person as well as remote services which is a huge benefit to clients, we can be on site, in their offices, at their home; whatever it is they need – we tailor our services to each client. We have a busy few months coming up in which we continue to enjoy every moment of working as a hybrid team with our wonderful clients and potentially meeting lots of new people too.

May we wish everyone a lovely summer and thank you for all of your support with the business over the past years and into the future years ahead.
